VANILLA CAKE

Vanilla Cake




Ingredients

All purpose flour – 2 ½ cups
Sugar – 2 cups
Eggs – 4
Milk – 1 cup
Vegetable oil – ¾ cup
Baking powder – 2 ¼ tsp
Vanilla – 1 tsp
Cashew nuts - few
Butter for greasing the pan

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease the round cake pans with butter.
2. In a large mixing bowl, beat sugar and eggs together until it becomes slightly thickened. Add flour, milk, oil, baking powder, and vanilla. Beat until the batter is smooth and creamy. (Do not over beat). Pour the batter into the greased cake pans (baking pans). Put cashew nuts on top of the batter.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until the top turns golden colour or a toothpick poked into the center comes out clean.
