MAAVUNDA/AVALOS UNDA

Maavunda/Avalos unda




Ingredients

Rice flour – 2 cups
Thick coconut milk taken from scraped coconut - 1 cup
Powdered sugar – 1 cup (Jaggery can also be used)
Ghee – ¾ cup
Kismis soaked in ghee – ¼ cup

Directions

1. Heat a pan and roast the rice flour in it.
2. Pour the coconut milk slowly into the flour and stir well till dry.
3. Add the powdered sugar and kismis along with the ghee and mix well.
4. Make balls out of the mixture before it cools and roll in in dry flour.
