Roasted Tender Beef
Ingredients
Beef (cut into small pieces) – 1 lb / ½ kg
Onion – 1
Tomato -1
Ginger- garlic paste – 2 tsp
Cinnamon – 1 inch
Cloves – 2
Fennel seeds – ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Chilly powder – 2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Vegetable oil
Salt to taste
Curry leaves (optional)
Directions
1. Grind fried cloves, cinnamon and fennel seeds.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions and curry leaves sauté till it becomes light brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste, and the ground ingredients (cloves, cinnamon & fennel seeds) into it.
4. Add the chopped tomatoes and stir well till it gets fully mashed.
5. Add the chilly powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder and stir well.
6. Add beef and salt to taste. Add ¼ a cup of water cook it for about 10 – 12 minutes.
7. Add oil in a pan and transfer the cooked beef into the pan roast it by stirring occasionally.
8.Serve hot when roasted nicely, with rice or chappati.
