FRIED GREEN BEANS

Fried Green Beans





Ingredients

Fresh green beans - 1 lb
Buttermilk - 1 cup
All purpose flour- 2 cups
Pepper powder - ½ tbsp
Garlic powder – ½ tbsp
Condensed cream of mushroom soup – 1 can
Sour cream – ½ cup
Fried Onions - ¼ cup
Salt to taste
Oil/butter for frying

Directions

1.Wash and trim green beans. Pat dry.
2.Mix the flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder in bowl.
3. Dip the green beans in buttermilk and then roll in the flour mixture.
4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the beans until it turns light golden brown. Drain the oil from the pan.
5.Add mushroom soup and sour cream to green beans and stir together.
6. Cook, uncovered, on high power for an additional 5 minutes or until bubbly, stirring twice.
7.Sprinkle fried onions on top.
