Tomato Curry
Ingredients
Tomato – 3 Nos
Shallots – 4 Nos
Green chillies – 3-4 Nos
Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp
Mustard seeds – ¼ tsp
Grated coconut – ½ cup
Curry leaves
Salt to taste
Cooking oil
Directions
1. Boil the cut tomatoes, green chillies, turmeric powder and salt in a 1 cup of water till the tomatoes are mashed well.
2. Grind the coconut and shallots well. Add it to the tomato gravy. Allow it to boil for 2 minutes.
3. Heat oil in a small pan, splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Add curry leaves and sauté for a while.
4. Pour it into the tomato gravy and mix well.
